Quizás suene un poco trillada mi elección pero de verdad esta canción me encanta, adoro la banda y me parece súper apropiada la letra ya que, sea cuando sea el momento que me toque despedirme de este mundo, sé que habré vivido una buena vida, que aprendí, que me arriesgué, que lloré, que reí, que anduve descalza, me enamoré, me bañé en la lluvia y por lo tanto tendré un buen viaje.

Cinecomendaciones: Libertador

El arte es subjetivo, uno ve una película, cuadro, obra de teatro, etc y va a depender de muchas cosas que te guste o no. A veces puede depender del momento que estemos viviendo, si estamos tristes o alegres, si perdimos a un familiar, la temática de la obra, hasta si ese día nos apretan los zapatos o hacía mucho frío.

A veces me pasa que cuando todo el mundo adora una película soy más crítica al momento de verla y cuando todo el mundo la detesta trato de conseguirle los puntos positivos.
En el caso de la película que hoy quiero recomendarles, no he oído grandes críticas con respecto a su parte técnica, vestuario o actuaciones, mas sí con respecto al guión, hay una queja constante y fuerte acerca de que no está apegada a la historia real de Simón Bolívar.
Sin embargo, no soy de las que les compra esa crítica ya que, aunque es cierto que esas inexactitudes se presentan, también es cierto que en una película (no así en un documental) la realidad puede ser modificada para dar más cuerpo a la misma.
Imagínense que digamos que Inglourious Basterds de Tarantino, es una mala película porque se tergiversa la historia y Hitler muere al final.  
Libertador de Alberto Arvelo es una muy buena película, independientemente de lo que se quiera decir de ella, así que, al final, no les prometo que les vaya a gustar pero sí los llamo a no dejarse llevar por las opiniones negativas que ha recibido, vayan a verla y créense su propia opinión.

#30Días30Canciones Día 23: Una canción que quiero para mi boda

Tal como comenté el día 7 del reto Viajera del Río era LA canción que queríamos bailar al momento del vals pero la banda lo olvidó. Pero, obviamente no voy a repetir mis elecciones así que, si nos volviéramos a casar, me gustaría que sonaran varias canciones pero estoy entre dos opciones que saqué de las películas "Amanecer" y "About Time".
De ambas, me decido por la primera ya que la segunda (Il Mondo de Jimmy Fontana), a pesar de ser súper divertida, es como un chiste privado ya que la letra no tiene nada que ver con bodas.

Como Penny

En el primer capítulo de The Big Bang Theory, Leonard le pide a Penny que les hable un poco acerca de ella
a lo que responde: "Okey, soy Sagitario, lo cual probablemente les dirá más de lo que necesitan saber" y Sheldon le contesta: "Sí, nos dice que participas en el delirio cultural de masas de que la posición del Sol, a la hora de tu nacimiento de algún modo afecta tu personalidad." Esto me dio extremada risa pero siempre que pienso en cualidades de los signos recuerdo inevitablemente esta escena.
Yo, como Penny, participo de ese delirio en masa y creo que debe tener alguna base en los cambios energéticos que se producen a lo largo de un año por el movimiento del Sol. De hecho leyendo un poco sobre el tema encontré este artículo del 2010 de la página de Pijama Surf llamado "Las Pruebas científicas de la astrología", por si le quieren echar una hojeada.

Mi signo es Cancer y sí, creo que dice mucho más de lo que necesitan saber de mi, jeje. Según la página del periódico ABC de España, los cancerianos nos caracterizamos por ser muy introvertidos pero al mismo tiempo muy divertidos, amables, joviales y elocuentes, lo cual pareciera decir que somos algo ambivalentes, y además irritables, rencorosos y algo perezosos. Por eso se nos representa con el Cangrejo, por su manera de caminar moviéndose de lado a lado.
Otras características que se suelen asociar a las personas de nuestro signo constantemente son: amorosos, maternales, familiares, empáticos, imaginativos, creativos y artistas.

Quienes me conocen saben que todas estas cualidades se relacionan conmigo de alguna manera, tanto lo bueno como lo malo.

Muchas de las personas (fuera de mi familia cercana) que admiro o me gustan enormemente, son (o fueron) de este signo, comenzando por mis más cercanos como mi madrina de bautizo o mi prima-ahijadita Valentina, algunos venezolanos como Capriles, Oscar de Leon o Laureano Márquez y otras grandes personalidades como Tenzin Gyatso (actual Dalai Lama), Messi, Mandela, James Rodríguez, Tom Hanks, la princesa Diana con su hijo Guillermo, Meryl Streep y el recién fallecido Robin Williams y siento que en todos ellos se ven también reflejadas muchas de las características mencionadas.

Por supuesto que sé -como estudiante de psicología que fui- que hay miles de factores genéticos y ambientales que determinan mucho más nuestra personalidad que "la posición arbitraria del Sol al momento de nuestro nacimiento" pero también creo que la energía es una fuerza muy poderosa que puede lograr cosas impensables.

El disco "These Days" de Bon Jovi, fue uno de esos "vuelta y vuelta" de una época de mi vida. De hecho fue nuestro primer "compact disc" y ésta canción que escogí, una de mis favoritas aunque ahora casi no la escuche sino cuando a mi Sony Walkman le da por escupirla.
